Our Commercial Partners

More Community Trust’s (MCT) main commercial partners are MORE’s lodges and hotels. Each feels a responsibility to uplift its local communities and takes great pride in being a part of their development. Noting MORE guests’ wish to get involved too, the properties and we at MCT are working together to open up our development projects to those who wish to leave a ‘heartprint’ on their destinations.

Lion Sands Game Reserve, Mpumalanga

The only private game reserve rooted in both the Sabi Sand Game Reserve and Kruger National Park. The Sabie River forms a natural boundary between its two sides, and four waterside lodges provide the ultimate luxury safari bases. Ivory Lodge and River Lodge are located on the Sabi side, and over on Kruger are Narina Lodge and Tinga Lodge. The animals roam freely between them, and no matter which side guests choose to stay on, they will have exceptional game-viewing opportunities.

Our Huntington Village Projects:

Madikwe Safari Lodge, North West Province

Madikwe Safari Lodge’s three luxury camps – Lelapa, Kopano, Dithaba – are ideally located to appreciate the vastness and diversity of Madikwe Game Reserve’s landscapes and wildlife. Its wooded hills give way to bushveld and Kalahari plains, roamed by an astonishing array of animals – including the Big Five and a flourishing population of the endangered African wild dog. Coupled with the reserve being malaria-free, this makes it a special place for families to explore together.

Our Obakeng Village Projects:

Marataba South Africa, Limpopo

The private concession is part of the Marakele National Park which, as its Tswana name suggests, is a ‘place of sanctuary’. The park conserves the Limpopo Waterberg’s biodiversity – including a healthy population of the critically-endangered black rhino – and San rock art and Iron Age sites of great historical significance. Within this wilderness, Marataba’s luxury Safari Lodge and Mountain Lodge are the only camps, creating for a select few guests highly-personal safaris experiences.

Our Thabazimbi Town Project:

More Quarters Hotel, Cape Town

Luxury rooms, including family rooms, come with all the privacy of guests’ own lounges, kitchens and dining areas, and all the convenience of five-star hotel service. The hotel’s 23 accommodations are ideal for travellers who appreciate having their own spot to come home to, where they can kick off their shoes and play their favourite music after a busy day out. The hotel also includes the four-bedroom Redcliffe House and we invite families and friends to experience it as their own.

Our Mfuleni Township Project:

Stanley & Livingstone Boutique Hotel, Victoria Falls

The area’s first boutique hotel comprises just 16 luxury Suites and welcomes guests (of all ages) to pause on a spectacular Southern African itinerary. Its elegant-yet-approachable design is a fresh take on colonial style, and its spaces – a restaurant, bar, lounge, terrace, and serviced pool facing onto landscaped gardens – encourage guests to settle in and feel at home. Every comfort, attentive service and good food enhance the experience, ensuring guests are very well taken care of.
